Description
Non vintage El Ojo Rojo This wine is a cuveé of Pinot Noir, hand chosen by Benjamin Silver himself. Most of these grapes come from high elevation, south facing slopes in Los Alamos. Majority 2015 Pinot, with ‘16 and ‘17 also included. For those wine nerds out there, the clones included Dijon 115, and Swiss clone 2a. The wine is aged in older French barrels for three years, which contributes a maturity to the wine that is inexplicably unique. A plummy ripeness, and restrained abv contributes to a profile that drinks more old world than new.
